Norm Thiesen, Ph.D.
As a counselor and educator for over 15 years, Dr. Norm Thiesen has been training Christians to bring the hope of Christ’s healing to broken people. While meeting the needs of the hurting is essential, we are also called to help those for whom life is simply “not working.” Jesus did not come only to heal but to set us free to experience life abundantly (Jn. 10:10). When Norm was introduced to the emerging profession of coaching, it became apparent to him that this could be the means of helping people improve their lives. Change is at the heart of the redemption story. Death to life. Darkness to light. Slave to free. Western’s mission, to be a catalyst and resource for spiritual transformation, captures a commitment to training leaders who want to change lives.
