6. Institute for Theological Studies (ITS) Courses.
a. Cost. ITS courses are priced as all other courses offered through WSCLL. ITS MP3
format courses are included in the student’s tuition. Books and other required or
recommended resources are not included in the course tuition.
b. Credit Hours. ITS courses are designed as three credit-hour courses. With the exception
of our language courses, the Western Seminary standard for courses includes 1, 2 and 4
hour courses at the master’s level, and three hours at the doctoral level. To ensure
conformity, ITS course syllabi are revised by WSCLL to conform to a 2-hour standard.
c. ITS Transfer to Other Institutions. On occasion WSCLL is asked by a student enrolled at
another accredited institution to offer ITS courses at their native three credit hours for
transfer into his or her program to fulfill a specific program requirement. In this instance,
and with the approval of the Registar, WSCLL offers the course for two credit hours and
creates an appropriate
