OPALL
(Oregon Private Academic Library Link) is a consortium of five
Christian college and seminary libraries in the Willamette Valley,
who have merged their holdings into one on-line database produced
by Endeavor Information Systems, Inc., called Voyager.
The libraries whose holdings are included
in this online, searchable database are:
New Online Library Resources
from SeminaryLibrary!
WSCLL
students now have access to the resources of SeminaryLibrary.com,
Logos Research System's online Christian theological library
which, as SeminaryLibrary.com states, "provides theological
reference material for all levels and most areas of study and
is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week over the internet.
Although it does not contain all the powerful search, text analysis,
or language tools found in Logos Bible Software, it does provide
easy access to a host of important resources that have been
very difficult to access in the past, such as Patrologiae
cursus completus by Migne and other rare works.
WSCLL Library Policies
Distance education credit students are encouraged
to use Western Seminary library services to support their educational
program. Our on-line database is available 24 x 7 x 365 and
allows you to do the basic research for available resources.
We then encourage you to check with your local library first
to determine if the book is immediately available, and, if not,
to request an Interlibrary Loan with Western's Cline-Tunnell
Library. If this is not possible, you may request that a book
that is part of our library holdings be shipped directly to
you.
When you request a book from our library,
you will be required to affirm that you have read, accept and
agree to abide by our library policies.
EBSCOHOST Online Databases
Students who are currently enrolled in a Western
Seminary course have access to the EBSCOHOST online databases.
In many instances they provide full-text access to current publications
in a variety of study disciplines. To access the online resources,
