General Principle: Students may register for courses at any time. That does not mean, however, that you can register for any semester at any time.
The "deadlines" listed below refer to dates before which you must enroll to ensure that your registration will be recorded in that semester. For example: If you wish to be enrolled for the Spring 2008 semester, we will need to receive your course registration by January 7, 2008. Registrations received after that date will be entered for the Summer 2008 semester.
If it is important that you register for a specific semester, such as for students anticipating graduation, you will need to have your registration to us prior to the deadlines below to ensure that your enrollment will be recorded for the needed semester. Students who for some valid reason must register after the semester deadline, but who must still be registered for that semester, will need written permission from the registrar before the registration can be recorded and processed by the Center for Lifelong Learning.
Important Update: Beginning in the 2007 - 2008 academic year, all students at all campuses will be using the same calendar for distance education courses. This means that students in Portland and in Northern California will now have 14 - 15 weeks in which to complete a distance course through the Center for Lifelong Learning.
