In This Workshop, You Will Learn To...
  • Successfully access WSCLL.net's Online Learning Center and login.
  • Change passwords if required to do so, or if you would like to at a future date.
  • Understand the various elements of the Learning Center workspace.
  • Edit your user profile and view the profiles of fellow students.
  • Use site breadcrumbs for navigation.
  • Open and download the course syllabus.
  • Use the course calendar (if applicable).
  • Post to a discussion forum and reply to the posts of others in the course.
  • Take a quiz or exam online.
  • Upload course assignments for grading or review.
  • Check your grades in the course gradebook.
  • Quickly check your progress in the course.
  • Get help for the various functions of the WSCLL Online Learning Center.

Meet Your Online Instructor...Jon Raibley

Jon Raibley is Assistant Director of Distance Education and the Center for Lifelong Learning and an M.Div., Th.M. graduate of Western Seminary. He has worked with distance education students for almost 20 years and knows well the issues that they face in their use of the tools of education. He is also a recognized whiz in Microsoft Word and the "go to" guy for help in our department and beyond.

Meet Your Online Instructor...Jim Stewart

Jim Stewart is Director of Distance Education and the Center for Lifelong Learning. Among other duties, formal and informal, Jim has served as Western Seminary's webmaster and the architect of wscll.net since the beginning. He is an avowed technophile, though not for the technology itself, but for what technology now makes possible that was only dreamed of in years past.
